TubaFour Handyman is a locally owned and operated handyman company on Oahu. We specialize in providing professional and quality handyman services. As a dependable handyman Honolulu company, we arrive prepared and ready to start immediately. The journey started on the Windward side of Oahu, where my ohana lived on a farm. Part of the farm was near the lower slopes of Olomana. There was always something to explore and never a dull moment. Hiking in the backyard was a big part of growing up and our dogs always came along for fun. Being this was a farm, there was also a nearby river where we caught crayfish, bass, catfish, and tilapia.

The house we lived in was a true fixer-upper. Despite this, it was a great way to grow up, where I learned hard work, responsibility, and the strength of love and support from my ohana. In my early 20s, I had the opportunity to become a laborer-apprentice under a father and son construction company. There was a lot of work building numerous additions, and kitchen and bathroom renovations. The knowledge gained was a valuable starting point in my career. This experience taught me the basic carpentry skills to fix my family’s house. This gave me a sense of pride and accomplishment that I could give back and help-out my parents. 

I furthered my skills and knowledge by working with another construction company. We worked on new construction, and additions all the way from North Shore to Hawaii Kai. A little known perk is that these various job sites are usually walking distance or a short five minute drive to the beach. After work, I would go free diving with my spear gun and three prong spear for reef fish and tako. Or as a tourist who did not speak English once told me, “harpooning.” And along the way, I met other tradesman who shared their expertise. These experiences both inside and outside of work, have shaped the values that I bring to every job; integrity, communication, and quality. These values have guided me and continue to do so all these years later.
